Meet our Pastor !
Reverend Lawrence Dale Hobbs Jr. began his pastoral leadership at FCCS on Sunday, September 30th, 2018. He and his wife, Ximena Hobbs were married on May 14th, 2005 and have 4 children and 7 grandchildren. His formal education is from North Lake and Eastfield Community Colleges. He received his ordination on September 15th, 1996 from Alpha Fellowship of Ministries under the mentorship of Pastor Dr. Charles York and Associate Pastor Bill McAdams of Alpha Christian Center, where he also served in the music ministry for 5 years. He conducted a nursing home ministry for 22 years and a jail ministry for 3 years prior to his pastoral calling. He serves in the music ministry and preaches God’s Word here at First Christian Church of Seagoville. His goal is to lead people to the saving grace of Jesus Christ and help them grow in knowledge and Faith.
